I received the bachelor's degree in Physics (2012), the M.Sc. degree in Reservoir Geology and Geophysics (2013), and Ph.D. (2019) degree (cum laude) in Earth's Science from the University of Barcelona (UB).

The main research interests I have include combining numerical and inverse techniques, as downward-continuation, travel-time tomography, and full waveform inversion, to extract high-resolution information (structure and properties, i.e. p-wave velocity, Vp) of the subsurface.

In particular, my work at the Barcelona Center for Subsurface Imaging (Barcelona-CSI), inside the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM) - Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), is devoted to the development and implementation of a generalized workflow using synthetic and field marine streamer data sets. The workflow was successfully applied for limited-offset seismic streamer data lacking low frequencies (band-limited) producing high-resolution, geologically meaningful Vp models (Gras et al., 2019).
